About Us

Identifying Needs, Delivering Results

We are a local community group with the primary aim of reaching out to help people who are most in need. We receive food surplus from supermarkets within the area and provide for people and families who are going through financial difficulties and struggles within our community. Our work is making a real impact in  people's lives and offers valuable support where it is needed most by ensuring people have food at their table. I believe that through the simple act of giving we can overcome many problems we can face in life whilst helping others in our neighborhood through difficult times.

Charity is held to be the ultimate perfection of the human spirit, because it is said to both glorify and reflect the nature of God. ... Charity has two parts: love of God and love of man, which includes both love of one's neighbor and one's self. In 1 Corinthians 13, Paul places the greater emphasis on charity (Love). As a community group this is what we endeavor  to achieve.

If people you feel lonely, need someone to talk to, or need help getting access to food and medicine. If we cannot help with other things, we will signpost to different organisations or help find someone who can. Ways to keep calm, help mental health, ease stress and cope with loneliness. When the Covid-19 crisis hit the UK, Spring-Water recognised the necessity of an immediate and well-coordinated action. We spoke with our members and Christian charities, organisations and representative/umbrella groups and decided that now was the time for collective and unified action. We have joined hands to provide a collective response. Fundraising money and raise funds to support families and individuals in need of assistance, particularly those facing financial difficulties, as well as helping organisations with the resources and support necessary in order to help them more effectively coordinate their local responses.

We are looking for support with the Christmas hampers that we want to be able to support families with in the run up to Christmas as we know that demand will be high and w can not rely on donations alone for this
